Holistic Management Field Seminar for Organizational Leaders

Holistic Land & Livestock Management enables people to make decisions that are economically, socially, and environmentally sound, while taking them towards the life they want to lead. It includes easy-to-learn planning procedures that assist communities to restore their land using properly managed livestock.

In this seminar we:

  • Orient leaders of organisations participating or considering participating in any of ACHM’s training programmes to the ideas, principles, and methods we use to implement land and livelihood regeneration programmes in communities.
  • Provide an overview of Holistic Land and Livestock Management and its potential to heal land and improve livelihoods in rural communities in Southern Africa.
  • Explore ways to adapt what we at ACHM have learned about successful implementation of Holistic Land and Livestock Management to meet your programme needs.

Course Content

Holistic Management Overview:

What it is, how it can benefit you, your organisation and the communities you serve; why it is key to achieving social, economic and environmental health.

Ranch Tour:

Viewing the land a whole new way; land regeneration principles and evidence of successful restoration.

Community Visit

We visit and engage with a community that are managing their land and livestock holistically.

Follow up Support

ACHM also provides follow-up support as graduates implement the programme in communities. Our facilitators have years of experience in implementing programmes themselves and can help build the confidence of graduates as they coach them through challenges they are likely to experience, making sure they learn from them. Additional fees apply.
