Holistic Management Overview:
What it is, how it can benefit you, your organisation and the communities you serve; why it is key to achieving social, economic and environmental health.
Do you want to increase your crop yields
We know that most small-scale farmers would like to lower their input costs and increase their crop yields. In this course week, we help farmers understand the value of integrating livestock into their cropping plans. Farmers have used the impact of animals to double crop yields and significantly reduce input costs (when compared to community control fields). The farmers also learn how to plan and manage where livestock are herded in both the growing and non-growing seasons, so that animals remain healthy, safe, and productive, even as they work to heal the land.

ACHM also provides follow-up support as graduates implement the programme in communities. Our facilitators have years of experience in implementing programmes themselves and can help build the confidence of graduates as they coach them through challenges they are likely to experience, making sure they learn from them.
