Chilli dispenser as an Elephant deterrent

Cirad, an agricultural aid organisation from France were at the Africa Center for the past week, with members from there teams from across The Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA). The week was spent empowering their ground teams with options to help reduce human/animal conflict in the region. With a particular focus on Elephants during this crop growing period of the year.

They had a french engineer develop a practical low cost chili dispenser, loosely based on a potato gun.
